Three Hardline wins. A World Cup Overall Title. And a season that just keeps getting better.
Asa Vermette Makes History with Third Red Bull Hardline Victory in British Columbia
Frameworks Racing / TRP's Asa Vermette made history at the inaugural Red Bull Hardline BC, becoming the first rider to win all three Red Bull Hardline events. Teammate Mikey Delesalle also delivered an impressive performance, finishing fifth against some of the world's best riders on one of the most demanding courses in mountain biking.
A New Level of Gnarly at Cypress Mountain
The first-ever Red Bull Hardline BC took place at Cypress Mountain, overlooking North Vancouver in British Columbia. Known for its steep, technical terrain, the North Shore provided the perfect setting for one of downhill mountain biking's most extreme competitions.
Massive jumps, exposed technical sections, and unforgiving terrain pushed riders to their limits. With incoming weather threatening the event, organizers moved finals up a day, adding another challenge to an already intense race week.
Asa Vermette: Three for Three
Fresh off securing the 2026 UCI Downhill World Cup Overall Title in his debut Elite season, Asa arrived at Hardline BC with plenty of momentum. He wasted no time making headlines, throwing a massive backflip over the course's final 97-foot jump during practice.
Qualifying didn't go quite as planned. A heavy crash ended Asa's run early, leaving him near the front of the starting order for finals. Dropping fifth, Asa had a relatively slow start before finding another gear through the middle and lower sections of the course. His speed through the most demanding terrain put him straight into the hot seat.
One by one, the remaining riders dropped in. Several were ahead of Asa's time in the upper sections, but none could match his pace through the bottom half of the track.
Asa held on for the win, completing an unprecedented three-peat at Red Bull Hardline.
With victories at Hardline Tasmania, Hardline Wales, and now Hardline British Columbia, Asa continues to redefine what's possible at just 19 years old.
Mikey Delesalle Charges to Fifth
Frameworks Racing / TRP teammate Mikey Delesalle put together an outstanding weekend of his own.
Mikey qualified fourth on the challenging Cypress Mountain course, showing serious speed against a stacked field of the world's top downhill and freeride athletes.
When finals rolled around, he found even more time, improving his qualifying run by nearly 20 seconds to secure an impressive fifth-place finish.
On a course where simply reaching the finish line was an accomplishment, Mikey's performance was another standout result for the Frameworks Racing / TRP crew.
An Unforgettable Season Continues
From World Cup victories and the Elite Men's Overall Championship to making history at Red Bull Hardline, Asa Vermette's 2026 season has been nothing short of extraordinary.
With Asa taking the win and Mikey securing a top-five finish, Frameworks Racing / TRP continues to prove itself at the highest levels of mountain biking.
We're incredibly proud to support these athletes as they push the limits of what's possible on two wheels.
Three Hardline wins. One incredible season. And we're just getting started.
