awesome brakes for many reasons

1) they work great. great consistency throughout months of riding. hot, cold, wet, dry, high speed, low speed, amazingly consistent feel.
2) awesome compatibility options. in a pinch, shimano pads fit. Also really cool customization options for levers exist from quite a few companies to fit different riders hands and preferences. the stock ones are great, customization is just an awesome additionally feature to have.
3) quick and easy servicing process.
The bleed process is exactly as the video says. hit that 20 degree angle when bleeding and it will bleed perfectly. Sometimes videos and companies do not give you these tips and tricks, but TRP does and guess what? They know their product.

Super Consistent!

Coming off a pair of Shimano Mt8120s (XT 4 piston) these are way more consistent, especially on the steep trails you'll find on the north shore. Best part is all my Shimano pads are compatible!

Best Brakes I've used

I've ridden on a couple brakes, Code RSC, hope V4, shimano xtr 4 piston, and now these. I've worked on many many more as a bike shop mechanic.
After having owned and ridden the DHR Evo brakes for 2 years I'm confident that no other brake is this powerful, this easy to find parts for, this easy to maintain, and this fuss free as a set and forget component.
Pros include:
Mineral Oil
Shimano pad compatibility
growing aftermarket support
Tektro backing the product
fit and finish (obviously)
consistency under power and heat
long maintenance interval
Solid warranty and helpful staff
I've had 2 year problem free use, thousands of meters of descent, multiple flights, and cross country road trips without ever having to worry about my brakes

Cons:
The stock blue pads are good for organics but to get better power and wear life and water resistance they should be replaced with metallic pads
(Personal preference) not as on/off with zero effort as the hayes dominions or properly bled shimano saints
TRP doesn't offer seals to do service on your brakes yourself (they do offer lever parts but they don't have quite the same attitude Hope does towards replacement parts for *everything*)
Some calipers have been known to leak (these are small in number and easily addressed by the folks at TRP)

All in all great great brakes, the best performance you can buy from a normal brand (can't speak for intend or trickstuff) and easy to live with

Reliable, powerful, beautiful, what more can you ask for?

The trp du evo brakes I have fitted on my propain trickshot. They stop with ease and put other bike with two breaks to shame. Couldn’t recommend this brake more🙌

Best brakes on the market

Tried them a few years ago because they were available now I have trp brakes on every from my dh bike to dirt jumper. More power than any other brake and the perfect amount of modulation. These brakes feel the same at the top of the first to the end of the last!
