DH-R EVO

I'm on my 3rd set of DHR Evos (not due to failure but just different bikes) and they're as good as the day I first started running them. The compatibility with Shimano, ease of bleeding (not that it is needed often at all), and overall package is hard to beat. They offer great power delivery, one of my favorite feeling levers, and a nice amount of modulation without feeling a lack of power. Highly recommended.

I recently purchased a set of brakes and had a few problems with the shop I was working with putting them on and a guy on the trp team Dave b Helped me out tremendously by even calling the shop and giving them directions on how to put it on and would check up on the process with the shop when I tell you this is the best customer service I’ve ever had by any Business I mean it I am absolutely amazed. I have had these on a few bikes now. They are easy to set up and once done so you don’t need to worry till you need new pads. There is some cross compatibility with shimano but not the oil. I like that I can travel and be able to find pads and rotors. Just give them a go.

In my opinion, TRP DHR EVO's are the best brakes out there. They are simple to work on, powerful, reliable, amazing heat management, you can use Shimano pads if you need to (you can find Shimano pads anywhere you go)! Perfect amount of modulation, and power to spare. Not only that, because they use mineral oil you don't have to bleed them as often. Buy them!!! And the Freedom Coast levers rock on these brakes!
