Frameworks Racing - Monster Pro DH #1 at Ride Rock Creek
Frameworks Racing kicked off the first Monster Pro Downhill race of the season with a strong showing at Ride Rock Creek in North Carolina. After a full week of riding and preparation, the team came into race weekend ready and it showed in both qualifying and finals.
Elite Results
Asa Vermette led the way for TRP. He set the fastest time in seeding and carried that speed into finals where he finished 3rd in Elite Men. It is a great start to the season and a sign of what is to come.
Anna Newkirk was just as consistent on the women’s side. She qualified 2nd and backed it up with another 2nd place finish in finals. She looked comfortable on track all week and kept that pace when it mattered most.
Strong Depth in the Women’s Field
Beyond Anna's great result, up and coming riders Raina and Zanna Logar both put together solid race runs in a deep elite women’s field. Raina finished 6th while Zanna followed in 9th, putting both riders in the top 10. It is a strong start for both of them and shows the depth of the program right now.
Juniors Gaining Experience
The younger riders also had a good weekend at a demanding venue. Mikey Delesalle finished 14th in Elite Men, continuing to build experience at this level. Jack McCredie rounded things out with a 31st place finish as he continues to find his rhythm early in the season.
Looking Ahead
Overall, it was a really positive start to the Monster Pro DH season for TRP Cycling. With podium finishes, multiple top 10 results, and strong qualifying speed, the team leaves Rock Creek with confidence heading into the next round.
